He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Zaunbrecher and Cecilia Habetz Zaunbrecher; and his brother Godfrey Zaunbrecher. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Sanchez Zaunbrecher; his children, Kendra Richard (Steven), Heidi Leleux (Jeremy), Joshua Zaunbrecher (Sara) and Seth Zaunbrecher (Laura); his brother Timothy Zaunbrecher (Judy); and his grandchildren, Luke Zaunbrecher, Anna Zaunbrecher, Levi Zaunbrecher, Austin Richard, Thomas Zaunbrecher, Jude Leleux and Noah Richard.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526).
In lieu flowers memorial contributions will be made in his name to St. Michael Catholic Elementary School and/or Notre Dame Catholic High School.
