He was predeceased by: his wife Macklyn Gilbert Guidry; his daughter Trisha Leah Guidry; his parents, Geneus Guidry and Leah Guidry; his sisters, Lula Mae Guidry Cormier and Lerline Guidry Sonnier; and his pet Big Boy.
He is survived by: his children, Leah Guidry Futrell (Joey) and Lance Guidry; his caregivers, Roy and Celeste Winkle; his grandchildren, Jolee Guidry, Jacob Guidry, Jillian Guidry, Megan Guidry, Belle Winkle, Roy Winkle Jr. and Noah Parrish; and his brother Kenneth Guidry.
