It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gervis Quibodeaux Sr. of Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Dozilia; his wife Geraldine; his daughter Jan Comstock; his grandchildren, Mike Carrier and Gwendolyn Carrier; and his great grandchildren, Derek Carrier, Ethyn Svendsen and Biancha Lopez.
He is survived by: his siblings, Calvin and Myrtis; his children, Jessica Quibodeaux, Lola Eskine (Robbie), Jackie Penfold (Bob), Millie Hendricks (Tony), John Quibodeaux, Jr. (Hope) and Dwayne Quibodeaux; his great great grandchild Belle Lejeune; his pet Daisy; and also Belle (Gervis). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley (1529 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (29031 Crowley Eunice Hwy, Crowley, LA 70535).
