He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Robinson, Sr. and Cecila Mae LeDet Robinson; and his brother Brandon Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Naomi L. Robinson of Duson; his children, Joseph Robinson, III (Tronda) of Crowley, Desiree Robinson of Crowley, Akeem Robinson (Courtney) of Bossier City, William Robinson of Midland and Nicholas Robinson of Lake Arthur; his siblings, Troy Robinson of Crowley, Sharon Robinson of Crowley, John Robinson (Talithia) of Eunice, Sheila Penton (AJ) of Houston and Lydia Robinson of New Iberia; and his stepchildren, Dillon Guidry of Crowley and Damon Guidry of Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (417 W 3rd St, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1620 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
