He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Abshire and Elizabeth Abshire; and his sisters, Thelma and Mavis Abhsire. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen T. Abshire of Crowley; his daughter Anita A. Falcon (Michael) of Lake Charles; his grandsons, Julian Elizabeth Falcon and Reed Michael Falcon; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Langlinais and Michael Trahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
