He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Richard and Cynthia Ollie Welch Richard; and his siblings, Iona Wyatt, Eathel Wyatt, Buford, William and Wesley Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Bates Richard of Crowley; his daughter Angela Kay Hanna of Iota; his grandchildren, Mason Hanna, Carson Hanna and Caroline Hanna; and his great grandchild Metairie Hanna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:50 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Maxie Cemetery.
