He was predeceased by : his father Alpha Brown; his siblings, Nettie Gayle Brown and Ernie Brown; his grandparents, Wilmer and Mable Sarver; and his nephew P. J. Hulin.
He is survived by : his wife Toni Cormier Brown of Crowley; his mother Faye Sarver of Indian Bayou; his son Cedric Simon of Crowley; his brother Mack Brown (Shontize) of Crowley; and his mother-in-law Manita Benoit of Crowley. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
