He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Broussard and Irene Istre; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Smith, O'Neil, Loine Broussard, Rodney Broussard, Lucus Smith, Nicholas LeBeouf, Patrick Monceaux and Terryl LeMaire.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Mae Doucet Broussard of Midland; his children, Rodney Joseph Broussard (Angie) of Rayne, Linda Broussard LeBeouf (Charles) of Gueydan, Mary Broussard LeMaire (Terryl) of Gueydan and Loine Joseph Broussard (Dichira) of Rayne; his grandchildren, Dustin Brousssard, Nicholas LeBeouf, Chase LeBeouf, Whitney Monceaux, Shaila Broussard, Haleigh Broussard and Bailey Broussard; and his siblings, James Edward Smith of Midland and Mable Thibodeaux of Lake Charles. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Leblanc Cemetery.
