She was predeceased by: her husband Raphael L. "Tee" Manuel; her parents, James Hicks and Tabitha Andrus Hicks; her siblings, Shirley Winchester and James "Boe" Hicks; and her daughter-in-law Linda Manuel.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Manuel of Lafayette and Gregory Manuel (Donna Hanna); her grandson Nick Manuel; her stepgrandchildren, Jarid, Tonia and Donny; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jonathon, Mildred, Jacob, Harrison, Tyler and Jonnie. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
