She was predeceased by: her husband Benno Joseph Leonards; her parents, Eugene John Funk and Marguerite Bourgeois; her brothers, John Funk, Charles Funk and Guy Funk; and also Wade Vollmer.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Leonards (Wynelle) of Canton, MS and Anne Cagle (Brian) of Rayne, LA; her grandchildren, Anna Morgan Leonards (Adam Griego), Lauren Christine Leonards, Sam Cagle and Whit Cagle; and her great grandchild Theodore Griego.
