She was predeceased by: her parents, Samual Stagg and Marie Guilbeau Stagg; and her son-in-law Wilfred Romero, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy R. Gotte of Crowley; her daughters, Carlene Williams (Maurice) of Friendswood, TX, Charlotte Hebert (Francis) of Tampa, FL and Cathy Simon (Brian) of Tampa, FL; and her stepchildren, Stephanie Romero of Crowley, Patrick Gotte (Cora) of Biloxi, MS and James Gotte (Delores) of Crowley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
