He was predeceased by: his parents, H. H. "Pete" McBride and Wilda Reed McBride; his sister Kathleen "Kitty" Valdetero; and his parents-in-law, William and Rose Leonards.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Leonards McBride of Crowley; his children, Michael T. McBride (Stephanie) of Iota, Timothy J. McBride of Lafayette, Colleen McBride Mickal (Timothy) of Lafayette and Major Kevin G. McBride (Teri) of Wylie, TX; his siblings, Patricia McBride Gaspard (Persey) of Lake Jackson, TX and Reed McBride of Lake Jackson, TX; and his grandchildren, Steffan McBride (Jade), Michaela McBride, Hayden McBride, Garrett Mickal, Catherine Mickal, Amelia Mickal, Specialist Justin McBride and Kaylie McBride.
