Mitzie Holloway Gardiner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 91, Mitzie Holloway Gardiner of Crowley, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitford Holloway and Bettie Holloway; and her sister Mona Mason. She is survived by: her son Dr. Lonnie Gardiner (Keitha Gardiner); her grandchildren, Laurie Lanham (Shane Lanham), Brooke Gardiner and Kevin Gardiner (Kelsey Gardiner); her daughter Elizabeth Toups (Micheal Toups); her grandchildren, Dr. Chad Toups, Erin Cochran (Robert Cochran), Kyle Toups (Casey Toups), Joseph Toups and James Toups; her son John Gardiner; her grandchildren, Paul Gardiner and Jeanne Gardiner; her son David Gardiner (Vicki Gardiner); her grandchildren, Samuel Palombo, Caroline Crouch (Christopher Crouch), Katherine Gardiner and Madeline Gardiner; and her sister Dorothy Greenwood (Paul Greenwood). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (321 E 3rd St, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church-Crowley (321 E 3rd St, Crowley, LA 70526). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
