He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dischler and Louise Fontenot Dischler; his son Joe Dischler; his daughter-in-law Sandra H. Dischler; and his sisters, Loraine D. Rine, Mary D. Simon and Johanna D. Dupre.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Robison Dischler; his children, Carl W. Dischler, Dee Galla, Claire Hanson (Tom) and Kay Dischler; his grandchildren, Jennifer F. Kidder (Shiloh), Andrea F. Guidry (Chris), Paige G. Deaner (Greg), Dusty Dischler (Emily) and Kyle Hanson (Victoria); and his great grandchildren, Matthew Kidder, Joseph, Jane Guidry, Eliana and Jules Deaner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
