He was predeceased by: his parents, Morenas Comeaux and Nolia Breaux Comeaux; his former wife Evola Gary Comeaux; his wife Isabelle Abshire Comeaux; his son Ned Comeaux, Sr.; his siblings, Larry Comeaux, Anna Bell Murray, Merline Dubois and Janelle Vallot; and his stepson Terry Breaux.

He is survived by: his children, Nell Delahoussaye (Danna) of Youngsville, Neil Comeaux (Marlene) of Youngsville and Robert Comeaux, Jr. (Anita) of Youngsville; and his stepdaughter-in-law Kay Breaux of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
