Abshire, Jr. (Mary), Jeffery Leo Abshire (Mary), Lisa Abshire McPhee (Rolin) and Sarah Abshire Englisbee (Shawn); brothers: Lovelace Abshire, Doris Abshire and Wilbert Matthews; former wife: Allie LeJeune Abshire Blackledge; parents: Lenis Abshire and Enite Trahan Abshire; son: Mark Joseph Abshire; granddaughter: Allison Abshire; brothers: Pierre Roy Abshire and Linus Abshire; sister: Hazel Hebert; and numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526).
