It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Evans Francis (Crowley, Louisiana), who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Percy Francis, Sr.; her parents, Alonzo Wickliffe and Elmena Wickliffe; her daughters, Mary Francis, Elmena Minger and Edna Harmon; her grandson Earl Francis; and her great grandchild Kennedy Tubbs.
She is survived by : her children, Dianne Normand of Crowley, Dedra Stiers of Ellenton, FL, Percy Francis, Jr. of Huntsville, TX, Evelyn Nixon of Crowley, Eddie Francis of Crowley, Lucille Bunch of Crowley, Joseph Francis of Crowley, Martin Francis of Alexandria and Delores Francis of Winnfield. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
