She was predeceased by: her former husband Byron E. Lafleur; her parents, Aaron Cart and Inez Lantz Cart; her brother Russell Cart, Sr.; and her in-laws, Leon and Myrtle Bottorff Lafleur.
She is survived by: her husband Maltese; her children, Mike Lafleur (Julie Miller) of Lafayette and Stacie Lafleur Mitchell (John Mitchell) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Erin Chamberlain of Lafayette, Lantz Lafleur (Rachel) of Lafayette, Monique L. Guiliani (Mike) of Lafayette and Jonathan Landry (Lindsey) of Lafayette; her great grandchildren, Tanner Chamberlain, Charlee Chamberlain, Nico Lafleur, Mia Lafleur, Isaiah Landry and Eloise Landry; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Noelle Chanthavongsy and Matthew Chanthavongsy. She is also survived by three nieces and five nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contribution be made to Hospice of Acadiana, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
