Sherlene Lafleur Robichaux Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherlene Lafleur Robichaux (Crowley, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Joseph Robichaux; her sons, Floyd Joseph Robichaux, Jr. and William "Billy" Robichaux; her grandsons, Nicholas Lodge and Scott Cashi; her son-in-law Jim Latiolais; her parents, Havet Lafleur and Eva Istre Lafleur; and her siblings, James "Bubba" Lafleur, Ronald Lafleur, Lynn Lafleur and Kerlieda L. Castille.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Lodge (Bill) of Baton Rouge, Cathy Latiolais of Los Angeles, CA, Vickie Hoffpauir (Louis) of Lafayette, Kara Svoboda (Dave) of Florence, MS, Wendy Fennistrom (Reino) of Richmond, TX and Stephen Robichaux (Linda) of Rayne; her brother Dennis Lafleur of Lafayette; and her daughter-in-law Jan B. Robichaux of Crowley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:35 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
