He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Rue and Dora Trahan Rue; and his sister Martha Rue Pendley. He is survived by : his wife Priscilla T. Rue of Crowley; his children, Floyd Rue (Sara) of Crowley, Samuel Rue (Rebecca) of Lafayette, Amy Mouton (Daniel) of Mermentau and Valarie Myers (Garrett) of Maxie; his siblings, Virginia R. Dunnahoe (Duane) of New Iberia, Byron Rue (Sherry) of Crowley and Johnny Rue (JoAnn) of Crowley; and his grandchildren, Owen Rue, Maggie Rue, Abram Rue, Eli Rue, Falin Mouton, Landon Mouton, Bo Hoffpauir, Cole Hoffpauir and Manny Myers.
