She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Gauthreaux and Elaine Greenman Gauthreaux; and her siblings, Jeanette Richard, Ann Borill, Preston Gauthreaux, Jr. and Mark Gauthreaux.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Meche of Crowley; her daughters, Angela Satchell (Jason) of Rayne, Bonnie Credeur (Raymond) of Crowley and Anita Meche of Crowley; her sisters, Peggy Menard of Crowley and Nell Cormier of Crowley; her grandchildren, Madeline Credeur, Nicholas Satchell (Hannah), Zachary Satchell (Gabrielle), Amber Bertrand, Sophie Smith and Eleanor Credeur; and her great grandchildren, Alaya Smith, Stella Satchell and Bentley Louviere.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
