She was predeceased by : her husband Oscar Joseph Sonnier; her parents, Abraham Johnson and Estelle Wilturner Johnson; her sons, Paul, Carl, Martin and Joseph Sonnier; and her siblings, Wilmer Johnson, James Johnson, Dan Johnson, George “Jackie” Dabbs, Vivian Hill, Alma Jackson, Iola Larry and Lois Dabbs. She is survived by : her children, Dexter Sonnier of Crowley, LA, Marvin Sonnier of Crowley, LA, John Sonnier of Las Vegas, NV, Dianne Bess (Cicero) of Crowley, LA, Beverly Senegal (Morris) of Jennings, LA and Velma Sonnier of Arnaudville, LA; and her daughter-in-law Eileen Sonnier of New Jersey. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; and a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
