Walter Henry Schmid Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Henry Schmid Jr. (Crowley, Louisiana), who passed away on September 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Henry Schmid Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter and Julia Rose Frick Schmid; and his sisters, Eunice Miller, Lucille Herter and Lorraine Schmid.

He is survived by: his wife June Prejean Schmid of Youngsville; his sons, Gregory A. Schmid (Donna) of Crowley and Kurt R. Schmid (Jeanne) of Crowley; his sister Julia Zersen (David) of Wauwatosa, WI; and his grandsons, Randall, Matthew, Josef, David and Christopher Schmid. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
