With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilfred John Woods (Crowley, Louisiana), who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his daughter Karen W. Gillett; his great grandchild Chloe Anne Sellers; his parents, Offord Woods and Armelise Simon Woods; and his brothers, Vernice and Handrus Woods.

He is survived by : his wife Zora Mae Vincent Woods of Gueydan; his children, Elaine Bolton of Lake Charles and Dayle Woods (Phyllis) of Egan; his sister Edmae Woods Rizzuto of Gueydan; and his grandchildren, Teri Gillett McBride, Erica Sellers, Laura Witte, Cari Saltzman and Johnathan Bolton. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
