He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vondenstein and Necez Primeaux Vondenstein; and his brother Charles Vondenstein. He is survived by: his wife Linda Abshire Vondenstein; his children, Angela Hebert (Raymond Smith) of Broussard, Christopher Vondenstein (Katrina) of Navarre and Marcus Vondenstein (MariAnne) of Sealy, Texas.; his grandchildren, Sean Walker of Royal, Bronte'LeBlanc of Crowley, Hailey LeBlanc of Portland, Joseph Hebert of Lafayette, Shelby Brignac (Chris) of Navarre, Kelsey Vondenstein of Orlando, Trey Vondenstein of Smithville, Trent Vondenstein of Lake Charles and Trevor Vondenstein of Sealy, Texas.; his great grandchild Malakai Walker of Spirit Lake, Iowa.; and his grandsons, Devin Vondenstein and Tristen Vondenstein.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley (1529 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
