Spence; his children, Brandon Spence (Tammi) and Julie Rogers (Brian); his grandchildren, Aaron Bowman, Collin Bowman, Rileigh Bowman, Eli Rogers, Lydia Rogers, Ezra Rogers and Armani Rogers; and his sisters, Carrie Ruth Thornton, Sandra Mulkey, Betty Willis (Buddy Ann Tibbett) and Roxie Blanco (Carlos). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Waverly Baptist Church or charity of choice.
