He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Bruce; his brother Billy Bruce; and his grandparents, John, Elva Bruce, Clarence and Belta Sampey.
He is survived by: his children, Haley Bruce, Brandon Bruce (Kisha) and Brody Bruce; the mother of his children Tina Hankins; his mother Joyce Bruce; his sisters, Rosalind (Buddy) and Nicole Adams (Sonya); his grandchildren, Addison and Kaidence; and his close friend Kathryn Gazdag. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
