He was predeceased by: his parents, Ortis Pitre and Maggie Pitre; his in-laws, Sidney and Virgie Callais; his grandchildren, Bryce Esponge and Francis Pitre; and his great grandchild Celia Pitre.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Catherine Callais; and his children, Donna Carpenter (Richard), Marty Pitre (Laura), Jody Pitre (Monique), Mitchell Pitre (Nikki), Angie Cooper and Misty Guidry (Joseph). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (15300 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (15300 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345).
