She was predeceased by: her husband Clarance; her parent Onezime Elizabeth Callais; her children, Gary Cheramie and Janet Cheramie Picou (Wilson "Pic" Picou); her siblings, Dickerson Callais, Russell Callais, Norman Callais (Nan Joyce) and Ruth Adams; and her grandsons, Blaine P. Cheramie and Chad M. Picou.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerry Cheramie and Rod Cheramie (Kerry); her grandchildren, Amber (Amy), Lacy (Brian), Ashley, Shawn (Cru), Brittany (Reuban), Brandon, Luke (Ophelia), Matthew and Max (Kaila); and her great great grandchildren, Vayda, Adeline, Dru, Rhett and Alaynie. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Cut Off (15300 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
