She was predeceased by: her father Claude A. Bruce; and her sister-in-law Marsha H. Bruce. She is survived by: her mother Laura Bruce; her siblings, Terry (Dynorah), Kerry, Paul, Jimmie and Holly Bruce Duet (Sid); her goddaughter Bethany Dardar Allen; her nieces, Bethany Bruce, Faith Bruce Jones (Caydence) and Tricha Bruce Gross (Marshall); her great-nephews, Jordan, Noah, Oliver, Tristan and Cooper; and her great-niece Kaylie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Fellowship Church (13581 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (15300 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345).
