He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Jane Toups Hunter; his parents, Enes Hunter and Aline Autin Hunter; and his siblings, Morris, Enes Hunter (E. J.) and Earline Hunter Bouffanie.
He is survived by: his children, Farrel Cheramie (Annette), Jacklyn Stevens, Stanley Hunter II, Jeffery Hunter (Stephanie) and Belinda Cheramie (Russell); and his grandchildren, Brad, Rachel, Josh, April, Stanley III, Hollie, Haley and Robin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes (4682 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394).
