As Charles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Charles. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Herbert Parker; and his pet Buffy. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his mother Kathleen; his daughter Melanie Hollier (Troy); his siblings, Lonnie Parker and Lucille Rhodes; and his pet Sir Winston Churchill Parker. He is also survived by the children of his deceased brother, and many cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Baptist Church (1474 US-80, Delhi, LA 71232). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Any planned memorials may be made to Dunn Baptist Church Building Fund or Charity of your choice.
