He was predeceased by: his mother Elva Shanton Lewis (Helen Leatrice Lewis); his granddaughter Alissa Smith; and his brothers, Joseph and Charles Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Terry Lewis (Tracy), Elvin Lewis and Leslie Hale (Stacey); his grandchildren, Victoria Kendle (Mike), Bethany Lewis, Garrett Lewis, Lane Lewis, Madilyn Grace Lewis, Hyland Sawer Lewis, Jake Hale (Brooke), Ethan Gammon and Emma Gammon; his great grandchildren, Adelyn Kendle, Gunner Kendle, Landry Hale, Kovan Bowyer and Kestyn Bowyer; and his sister Middiie Bell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
