She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Marie Bourgeois and Theodile Marie Zeringue Bourgeois; her daughter Wendy Escude'; the father of her children Ernest Robinson; her husband Ben Stanley; and her siblings, Barbara "Bobbie" Jarreau, E. J. Bourgeois, Ruby Bourgeois and Edwina "Putt" Schexnayder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Waldrop, Wray Robinson (Teresa Carpenter) and Ruthie Cade; her grandchildren, Ginger Robinson, Joey Lena, Jeffrey Lena, Daniel Pylant, Ann Piazza, Sara Waldrop, Gabriel Robinson Sr., David Kennedy and Beth Kennedy; and her sister Sylvia Bourgeois. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 15 Great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232).
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation may be made to St. Jude' Children's Research Hospital in Memphis TN.
