He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bob" Dhu Thompson, Jr. (Cindy) of Monroe and Jason Colby Thompson (Laura) of Cornelius; his grandchildren, Aaron Thompson (Krystle), Brennan Thompson (Cassidy), Jordan Thompson, Elaine "Lainey" Thompson and Colby Thompson; his great grandchildren, Patrick Thompson, Emma Thompson and Liam Thompson; his siblings, Francis Coleman Thompson (Marilyn), Michael Lanier Thompson (Deborah) and Priscilla Jo Linder; and his friends, Hannah Johnson and Jerry Kaufman.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
