He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora McCree and Willie McCree Sr.; and his siblings, Addie Hutson, Millie Walker, Rachel Theus, Ed McCree, Tim McCree and Esau Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Mae Jones McCree; his children, Queen Ella McCree, Mack McCree, JoAnne Harrison (Frank), Willie McCree, Jr. (Mary Ann), Dorean McCree, Terry McCree (Sharon) and Cynthia McCree; and his brother R. D. Edwards. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: fifteen great- grandchildren: six great-great grandchildren: and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (413 Barfield Rd, Delhi, LA 71232).
