It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Dee Sutton Barnett (Denham Springs, Louisiana), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Sutton and Winnie Sutton; and her spouse Levell "Chick" Barnett. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Barnett (Elise White), Joseph Blake Barnett (Larie) and Reed Barnett; her grandchildren, Ben Barnett, Brittany Owens Barnett, Evan Barnett, Kelsey Brown, Davis Brown and Jordan White; her great grandchildren, Briana Barnett, Mike Barnett, Kennedy Barnett, Beverly Barnett, Jacob Barnett and Brock Owens; and her brothers, Percy Sutton, Lathan Sutton, Milton Sutton and Richard Sutton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Amite Baptist Church (7100 Amite Church Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70706).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Crossing Hospice of Baton Rouge or the Amite Baptist Church in Denham Springs.
