With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cora Lea Tate Carpenter of Denham Springs, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Carpenter; her parents, Hampton Wade Tate and Marie A Tate; her brothers, Robert, Russell and Raymond Tate; her grandchildren, Mary Kilgore and Woody McLin; and her great grandchild Max McLin.
She is survived by: her children, Adele McLin, Ruth Jones, Anson Blount and Alton Blount. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 16 great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
