He was predeceased by: his parents, JoAnne Olivier Ard and Allen Paul Ard; his grandparents, Dulcie Boquet Olivier, Curtis Olivier, Agnes and Olen Ard; his siblings, Ronnie Ard, Pamela Boquet and Connie Smith; his brother-in-law Horace Boquet; and his nephews, Anthony "Tony" Pinell, Ryan Usie and Aaron Pellegrin.
He is survived by: his close friend Cynthia Barras; his children, Joshua Ard, Jessica Moreau (Chris) and Jacie Ard; his granddaughter Alyssa Moreau; his brother-in-law Steven Smith; his sisters, Lynne Gonsoulin (Pat), Sandra Pinell (Kevin), Cathy Usie (Wendell) and Lisa Pellegrin (Mark); and his sister-in-law Mindy Landry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
