He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vallery and Eva Vallery; and his sister Georgiana Moxley. He is survived by: his former wife Janice; his son Christopher (Sandy); his grandson David; his daughter Christina (Carey); his granddaughter Lola; his son Earl Jr. (Lee); his granddaughter Fernanda; and his extended family, Rita and Ray Boudreaux (family: Geraldine, Roy Belt, Henry, Sharon Vallery, George, Joanna Vallery, Brenda Bailey).

In lieu of flowers, the family is directing donations in Earl's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
