He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Ducote and Elma Rachal Ducote; his son Nolan Craig Ducote; his brother-in-law Douglas Duden; and his in-laws, John and Helen Zumo.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Zumo Ducote; his children, Douglas M. Ducote Sr. (Marilyn Williams-Ducote) of Covington and Dara Lynn Ducote of Pine Grove; his grandchildren, Douglas M. Ducote Jr. of Covington, Tyler James Ducote of Dallas and Ashlyn Ducote of Pine Grove; his great grandchild Adalida Lovell of Pine Grove; and his siblings, Jean Ducote Falgoust (Frank) of Baton Rouge, Polly Ducote Duden of Avon Park, Florida, Christopher Ducote (Kay Murry) and Margaret Ducote Cooper (Billy) of Jackson, Mississippi. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
