He is survived by: his siblings, Joe King (Fran), Sharon Wheat (Haynes), Donald "Donnie" King (Donna), Dale King (Deone) and Glen King (Pat). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Isabel Baptist Church (53674 Parker Rd N, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
