It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Brecheen Thompson (Denham Springs, Louisiana), born in Pine Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother C. M. Brecheen; her husband Cecil Ray Thompson; her children, Jennifer Lee Thompson Lagrone and Cary Tod Thompson; and her siblings, Milton Brecheen, Leon Brecheen, Charles Brecheen, Clovis Brecheen, Lovie Noble, Marie Wilson, Eunice Allen, Ruby Thornton, Helen May and Myrtle Lee Brecheen.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Thompson (Lia) and Margaret Thompson Crifasi (Jim); her grandchildren, Cecil Zachary (Julie), Jason Thompson (Claire), Nathan Crifasi, Josh Crifasi (Hillary), Jeremy Thompson and Amanda Thompson Gorey (Marisa); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Zachary, Jude Zachary, Lauren Zachary (Alec May), Cameron Thompson, Mason Thompson, Austin Thompson, Axel James Crifasi and Margaret "Mae" Zachary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry little friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (27735 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726).
