Jonathan Clay Gant Obituary
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made for the
benefit of Clay’s daughter Casey Ann Gant. These can be made at Chase Bank in Denham

Jonathan Clay Gant, a resident of Denham Springs, LA passed away
peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was
a loving father, son, brother, grandson and friend. Clay was borne in
Baton Rouge, LA on February 1, 1990. He took pride in his company,
HVAC Direct of which he owned and operated.
He is survived by Father Brannon Gant, Mother Stephanie JonesThomas, Daughter Casey Ann Gant and her mother Melissa
Talamo-Gant, Sisters Bailey Gant and Christian Davis. Step Mother
Brandy Gant, Step Father Derrel Thomas Jr. Grandparents William
Irl Gant III, Joyce Ann Haynes-Gant, Patricia Fisher and Evan
Fisher. Step Sisters Allison Hutchison, Emily Hutchison and Carrie
Moore. Step Brother Tres Thomas. Uncle Barry Gant and Aunt
Cindy Gant. Cousins Chase Goudeau, Kayden Goudeau and Jeff
Skipper, and Dear Friend Sarah Purpera.
He was preceeded in death by his maternal Grandfather Larry
Jones, Great Grandmother Mozelle Reynolds, paternal Great
Grandfather Alan Haynes, Great Grandmother Othella Haynes,
Great Grandmother Temple Gant and Uncle Billy Gant.
Clay was a kind gentle soul that was full of Love. An avid
outdoorsman, Clay was often found hunting on the family ranch
and fishing with friends and family. Clay was a hard worker and
could fix almost anything. He loved to learn new things and took
true joy in sharing his knowledge with others he knew. He had
innumerable friends that Love him, legions of lives he touched. The
enjoyment he found in life was only outmatched by the boundless
love in his heart. Clay will always be with us in our hearts and the
cherished memories we have of him. We are so grateful that we will
continue to see his spirit and his life through his precious daughter
Casey.
