With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joy Tate Covington of Denham Springs, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Tate and Norma Tate; her brother Gerald Tate; her brother-in-law Marion Covington; and her husband William "Billy" Covington.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Covington (Angela) and Shannon Fuentes (Jamie); her grandchildren, Dustin Covington (Hannah), Codi Taylor (Mark), Shea Covington, Melinda Blackmon, Treston Blackmon, Chase Swann, Tommy Fuentes (Kirsti) and Matthew Fuentes; her great grandchildren, Ryder Covington, Luke Covington, Baker Covington, Kase Taylor and Macie Blackmon; her sister Kay Harris; and her sister-in-law Joanne Covington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
