She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Collins; her son Kenneth Hertz Jr.; her grandson David A. Pridemore; her parents, Henry Hamende and Eva Hamende; and her siblings, Russell Hamende and Elsie Storm.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Pridemore (David) of Bonfield, IL, Christine Cheffer (Larry) of Kankakee, IL and Kathleen McComb of Denham Springs, LA; her grandchildren, Angela, Chuckie, Wesley, Sarah, Kristen and Taylor; and her brother Vernon Hamende (Donna). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
