She was predeceased by: her husband Glen P. Wells; her son Michael Wells; her parents, George E. Reese and Lou Anna McPherson; her siblings, Joan Reese, Sue Myler, Natalie "Cooky" Reese and John "Buddy" Reese; and her brother-in-law Roy White.

She is survived by: her children, Lori Browning (Scott), Chris Wells, Craig Wells and Brandon Wells Davis Browning; her sister Genny White; her siblings-in-law, Paula Reese and James Myler; and her granddaughter Chana Giacone (Brook). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Katy would have wanted in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a local animal shelter/rescue.
