She was predeceased by: her son David Michael Rutledge; her grandson David Kaymon Rutledge; her parents, Ovid Debbs and Olla Mae Howell; and her siblings, Richard Howell, James Howell, Dixie Abernathy and Sue McGee.
She is survived by: her husband David Edward Rutledge; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Lois Rutledge Young; her daughter-in-law Kaye Rutledge; her grandchildren, Rebecca Michelle Young, Rachel Marjorie Fassbinder (Marty), Datha Ortist (Timothy) and Virginia Hunt (Jerame); her great grandchildren, Rylee, Chyane, Brees, Chole, Kylee, Lance and Brady; and her siblings, Geneva Howell Shelton, Brenda Howell Berry Holland and Joe Howell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
