“I was so very sad to learn of Mark's passing today. I had the honor of first meeting Mark when my San Bernardino County duties took my to a substance abuse services agency he was working at (1990s). He was such a positive influence in so many lives and he was committed to serving others. We developed an easy friendship, because that's just the way Mark was. My memories of friendship and admiration will always bring a smile to my face. I wish his family love and support in their grief.”
