She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Shaffett and Bessie Shaffett; and her siblings, Alven Shaffett and Bessie S. Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Coor-Tynes; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Tynes-Steele (Chase) and Kelsie Tynes; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Rape, Milly-Rose Steele, Kamden Rape and Madden Steele; her brothers, J. W. Shaffett (Bonnie) and Jessie Shaffett; her friend Val Coor; and her son-in-law Donnie Tynes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
